The Tewa Basin Archaeological Research Project seeks to understand the history of Ancestral Pueblo populations in northern New Mexico. By studying when people moved and interacted across the landscape, we hope to identify how population upheaval influenced, and influences, social, political, and religious worldviews.

As part of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oklahoma, this project is collaborating with students, faculty, and colleagues from across the United States to understand Pueblo history over a very dynamic eight centuries.
